Ivy inches inquisitive fingers into nooks
And crannies.
Gleefully exploring in the summer sun
Stone and vine, in mutual embrace.
Lacey wings flutter the leaves
As they stretch out along the wall Cheekily advancing.... reminding me of little green stars.
High above, hawk-wings shiver
Blurring for an instant a patch of blue.
Wings pixelated, a momentary hesitation
Before free-falling into the ferns beneath.
