I must admit it was slightly alarming at first but I have really come to appreciate the slower pace of life and the opportunity to look afresh at the local area. It's lovely just to walk out and explore new walks and revisit old ones, we are so lucky to live with such beauty on our doorsteps.
I've enjoyed having more time for quiet pleasures such as reading, gardening and cooking...unfortunately however, cooking seems to be a very popular pastime judging by the difficulty in obtaining flour!!!
Wondering how everyone is faring in isolation? Realise no-one has posted here since the end of April. Be good to hear people's experiences :) (A)

not quite done yet and it will need time to look nice agian but it will be so much better than it was!
I personally am loving it! There are a few downsides for me but on the most part I can't complain. I finally had the time to focus on my college work, catch up on housework, sewing projects, reading and oh so many other things! I have enough things to keep me occupied for months!
haha, it has been different that is for sure! nature is certainly benefiting from this virus! i keep meaning to get my macro lens out to get some nice pictures of all the insects! One of the things several people have commented on to me about, is how amazing it has been to spend time with their families instead of passing each other in the corridors. i am certainly enjoying being able to see and speak to my wife every day! shes been working in my study which has made a very nice change. That said i can not wait to get out and do normal stuff again....like fencing! (which now i think about it, it is sort of silly that it has been canceled because its one of those sports that if your within 2 meters of each other then you clearly do not know what you are doing 😂)
It has been a bit of a shock to the system...to be truthful...but with the beautiful weather we have been experiencing...up until today...it has been a wonderful opportunity for relaxation & reflection...to be able to appreciate the wonderful, colourful world around us and to hear bird song, instead of traffic-sounds. God's world in all its beauty and abundance! (That said...it has also been so good to have social media at our finger tips...) (Allison 🙂)
