We have a small library in St Brides Church Hall every Wednesday 3:30pm-7pm & every Satruday 10am-12am.

This has been going for a decade and a half, and used by many people to get information out across these villages. we aim to get four out a year and are always looking for contributions. If you have something you would like to add then please get in touch.

Coffee & Chat

This in the church hall every Saturday between 10:30am -12pm. A great way of staying in touch with other people in the village, and whats going on in the life of the community. Entrance is £1 and you are entered into a raffle. We also have a big bash at Christmas where all the helpers and those who who come celebrate together.

Mother Union

Mothers Union

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month in St Brides Major Church Hall at 7.30p.m. All are welcome.

Eucharist on the 4th Friday on the month at 10am in All Saints Church

 

Coffee Mornings are held at All Saints’ Southerndown on the first Tuesday of the month at 10.30a.m. Again, all are welcome.

Helping Hands

Helping Hands

Helping Hands consists of a group of volunteers who are willing to provide help in the
community in the following ways: Lifts to and from Church, Lifts to and from Hospital/GP/Care Home, Lifts to and from Post Office/Supermarket, Emergency shopping, Emergency, babysitting, Checking in on housebound people.

 

This service is coordinated by Val Rowe (01656 880266) and Pat Arnold
(01656 881981) who, once contacted, aim to arrange the necessary help. If anyone knows of somebody who is struggling, please let us know. Extra volunteers are always
welcome.

Toddlers

Toddlers

For children from 0 to 4 – and their parents and grandparents! Every Friday during term time from 10.30a.m. to mid-day in St Brides Major Church Hall.

 

The Library is also open at this time as a quiet room for children to be read to – or have a nap!
